
Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has achieved a new international milestone. In Numbeo’s Quality of Life Index for the first half of 2026, Oman ranked third globally while also retaining its top position in Asia and the Arab world. Oman achieved a score of 203.9.
Muscat/Tehran: Iran has announced that it has reached an agreement with Oman on a route for the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
